The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) has been in a 9 year fight to obtain collective bargaining rights for the nations Transportation Security Officers (TSOs).  These are the hardworking men and women who insure our safety at our airports.

The Triangle Labor Council, AFL-CIO represents union members in the following counties of North Carolina; Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Orange, Person, and Wake.  Significant cities within that geographical area include Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill, Smithfield, Roxboro, Pittsboro, Louisburg, and Oxford.  The mission of the Triangle Labor Council, AFL-CIO is to improve the lives of working families—to bring economic justice to the workplace and social justice to our state and the nation.
